and the animal shelter didn't have any :( Apparently its not "kitten season" yet. SIGH. We want to get a kitten because we already have a 11/12 yo female cat that is pretty territorial and so we figured if we get a younger male kitten Kasie would tolerate it more. So we will have to wait for a few months. I am sooo not good at wating. :crying:

That is so shocking. The shelters here are overflowing. :( I guess it's good, though, in your area to have more responsible people and fewer shelter animals.

Our local big chain pet store (Petco) works with one local shelter and has kitties available to adopt there all the time. The cats aren't bred, they're from the actual shelter, so maybe you could try there?

Regardless, I hope you find the perfect addition to your family. So many animals need good homes.

We went to Petsmart to look for a kitty but again no little bitty cats. They were all either females or over 2 yrs old. If we didnt have Kasie we totally would have brought home this gorgeous Siamese cat though. :(

If you were in my neck of the woods we could totally hook you up. My mom has a thing for cats and usually has between 15 and 30 at all times and several litters of little ones. The kids like it, I am just relieved I don't have to live with her. ;) We have 3 cats (had 4 till one came up missing :( ) and that's more than enough.

Sherry- holy cow thats a lot of cats!

Lorie- I checked the paper and cragslist and nothing there either. Guess I will just have to be patient. Boo.

You and Julie are in the same boat then .. I think she still has a few weeks to wait until she gets her puppy
