DD is looking for a 'good' camera that also takes 'good' video

I'm so tickled that she texted and asked me but I couldn't come up with anything off the top of my head, but I told her I'd start asking around for her.

She's always enjoyed photography, but I've never bought her an especially good camera. Just let her use my Nikon but now that we don't live together...

She's 15. Interested in pursuing film for college, so I'd like to support this idea of hers as much as I can.
 
My youngest (17) edits a lot of video. He really likes the video taken with his Samsung phone.
 
Try checking out Fujifilm X-A2 (or the similar lines) cameras. It's not a dslr, but you can buy different lenses if you want to.
We love the video quality as well as the photo quality that it produces. The colours that come out is so vivid!
