Let's say you were a digital scrapbooker and you participated in a forum that sometimes has challenges and games for special events. What type of games are your favourite? hahahaha

I don't enjoy hunts at all. They usually take so much time and I end up with nothing (I mean, nothing scrapped).
I like lift (chains), color challenges, sketch challenges. Almost anything scrapelated is fine :)
As to non-scrap: i like the word games best, I guess. They're easy and fun :)

Easy ones, especially if there are a lot of them coming my way in a short period of time. I find myself quickly overwhelmed if there's too much being thrown at me. With that said, I like template challenges, sketch challenges, scavenger hunts. Easy things! :D

Also fun games like:

"I spy" and then you go through the gallery looking for something with that in there. If it's designer-hosted, you go through the store and look for a product with that item.

A, B, C game of products in the store

Would you rather?

Commenting Challenges

Again, all easy things

I like Scavenger Hunts. They do take time but it's fun.

Scraplifts Challenges

Template Challenges

anything really...

I don't like scrap lift challenges and speed scraps.

I like every other challenges esp template challenges and scavenger hunts.

I also dislike the scavenger hunts. I like the scraplift a sugarbabe challenge where you can pick the layout you want to lift. I also like the scraplift chains. I like to have some non scrappy games too because like this weekend, I'll be travelling and probably won't have time to scrap. I like the "pick your favorite" products of a designer, ideas for kits challenge, and word games or just something easy. I also like the comment challenges, because everyone enjoys getting some love on their pages ;0)

My favorite challenges are the ones where you get a page done. I love template challenges, recipe challenges, slow scraps, Neapolitan, and anything along those lines. Your mashups are great too, Kristin!

On a weekend like this obviously there isn't time for us to scrap a page for every challenge, so I also like challenges that we can participate in quickly. Things like posting a photo that relates in some way to the one before it or the 'would you rather' kind of games. I'm with a lot of other people on the scavenger hunts; I almost never participate in them because I can finish a page in the time it takes to find all the previews.

Sorry, would anybody explain to me what that "neapolitan" game is about?

That's one of the challenges that used to be a staple here, way before the Bingo Challenges. (I can't even remember years--definitely more than 5 years ago.) It gets its name from the mix of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice creams in one carton. There are 3 inspiration layouts posted, and you scrap a layout by mixing features from all 3. For example, you might use the color scheme from the first, the photo placement from the second, and lots of paint and scatters from the third.

I love games, but my brain freezes with speed scraps and things like that!
There were a lot of fun games for the birthday in February... sorry, I can't remember one off the top of my head.

Thank you for taking the time to explain it all to me. :hugs:
That game sounds so cool!

I miss Cookie Challenges : ) But I also like scraplifts....like the kind where you lift the poster above you or you lift yourself . I like when we play forum games like the alphabet games or photo tag etc.
