Could someone help me with a photo?

I am not even sure if it is possible, but if it I knew if it was that someone here would know.

I offered to take a picture of my son's class as a graduation gift to his teacher (trying to take pictures of 26 5th graders is a chore) I got a pretty good picture, but in the last one of of my son's friends looks like she is picking her nose when everyone is facing the camera. Ugh.

Can I "swap" her head on the one picture with another to make it look better?

If you are using Elements you could try the Photomerge group shot. Go to FILE-NEW-PHOTOMERGE GROUP SHOT. It pops up with a window and you select your base image and the image you want to replace part of it with. It gives fairly good directions on how to do it. Sometimes it works great and sometimes it doesn't.

Maybe. It depends how consistent the child's position and your camera angle were from one shot to the next. If they're very close, you may be able to do it.

There are probably better ways, but I've done it by laying the photo with the new face over the main photo, lowering the opacity of the one on top, matching the images up (only worrying about the child you're replacing), and then masking the top image so only the part I want shows. Then I raise the opacity, adjust as needed, and merge.

I've done that before but it depends on the position of her body as well. It has to be similar in both photos. Like what about her arm for instance, the one that is reaching for her nose? You would probably have to 'swap' that arm as well?

I've done that too in group photos and as long as the camera placement and the group stayed fairly similar, it's pretty easy. I usually cut out a larger zone than the one I want to replace, bring it from the good pic to the one that need this spot replaced, and then tweak it (size, color, light) until it blends perfectly. I also erase the unwanted parts and then merge. It's easier to do if you have a solid color where you can merge the two pix, like a background wall, a solid t-shirt or even the neck if you just need to change the face.
