Call me a dummy- shadow help!

I was looking at some shadows on Creative Market https://creativemarket.com/Rhett/18-Shadows-for-images-and-sliders

Can I use these in PSE7 (I could upgrade if I needed to)? I can't find the info I need and I've honestly never shopped here. I'm not sure if these are purely for webdesign or if I could use these for scrapping.

TIA for explaining this to me. I'm thinking I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get Lightroom, but if I can get by with what I have for now that would be good budget wise.

I suppose you could use them. They're .psd files so you could use them in PSE or Photoshop. However, I think it would be much easier to get any of the digital designer created layer style shadows. I know Jenn's have great reviews. Several other designers have similar products. They aren't the funnest to install in PSE but there are lots of directions available and if you follow them, it's not hard. One click and you've got shadows vs. trying to use a .psd file... I'd go with the layer styles.

It's hard for me to tell how useful they'd be for scrapping. Since they're for web design, they may not have enough resolution for scrapping. They are really neat shadows, though. Definitely more involved than just a set of layer styles. It looks like there's darkening on the image itself to make the shadows look even more realistic. I would think you'd be able to contact the seller to ask if they'd work for print images. I'd also ask if they would work with photos of different sizes.

They used to be freebie for quite a while (I had it on my pinterest), I'll check if I actually downloaded them to see how good they are.
