Boxing Day!

Yay! I'm not one for going to stores, but I've done very well this boxing day shopping online!

I snagged a topaz ring, regular $249, on sale for $74. I've had my eye on it for while so I'm excited it was on sale!


I also found an opal necklace, regular $150, on sale for $88. (I have a huge love for opals!)


For my niece's birthday, I bought her a garnet ring (her birthstone), regular $100 on sale for $50. It's so pretty! I hope she likes it!


And I picked up some reflector discs (for photography), regular $120 on sale for $60. Oh, and a bunch of much-needed work shirts all on deep discount.

I did 90% of my shopping for Christmas in November so it's been a while since I've done any big shopping. I've been waiting for it! :w00t:

Now the clothes I bought -- that was a necessity. I lost a bunch of weight earlier this year and I already bought new pants that fit properly but now I desperately need more tops that fit so I don't look all schlumpy at work. I especially love a sale on stuff I would have had to buy anyway! Score!

I keep seeing deals and sales on things I know my kids would want (birthdays in feb and march and they sneak up on us quick!), but now it's time to play catch up on "life expenses" before it's absolutely necessary to start thinking about the birthdays....LOL
