October Bingo #6: Journal about your fears or something scary. I am seriously a person afraid of almost everything! I'm not even exaggerating so I had a lot to say for this one ha! I loved using this awesome Halloween kit for a page like this!
#13 - Mash up: paper strips and flowers. I love using lots of flowers on my page but I don't always use that many different papers. This challenge let me do both!
#6- Journal your fears/something scary. I took the opportunity to go a little out of the box on this one. I scrapped and journaled about the emo mess of being/having a 13 year old
While sitting with my son at the park, I had the opportunity to capture this big guy [he was nearly 4 inches long!] when he sat down right beside us! Super cool!
#7 - On Trend: Pumpkin Spice
Fall is one of my most favorite baking seasons of all. I'm not a fan of pumpkin spice flavored beverages but give me all the pumpkin spice flavored baked goods and I'm a happy girl!
#11: On the Left or the Right - For my layout, I chose to keep my design on the left half of the page and I admit, it was much harder than I thought it would be! I kept wanting to add little bits to the right edge to balance things out but I manage to resist.
#8 - time capsule: what is your world like right now?
This is such a great prompt because I can't wait to look back on a layout like this when life either slows down or gets even crazier.
Throwback -scallops... this is a design element that I don't think about much, however when I saw it on the owl in Cindy's template - I knew I HAD to use it! What a creative use of scallops!
#1 - Scrap your latest photos (on your phone). I have to admit a lot of my photos are taken using my phone these days. It is just much easier to use something that is with me all the time. Good thing the quality is good enough for scrapbooking.
