#18 : Take a Stand...
I'm dusting off my activism cape in 2017.
I have already jumped knee deep into the hoopla and am vowing to stand up and take a stand on issues that are important to me and my family.
#10 : Document a Milestone...
My 7 year old son recently ran his first 5K race and placed 2nd in his age division and 25th out of nearly 900 other runners!
It was such an amazing experience for him ♥ I love that he's already looking forward to the next one!
#21 - One Word Title... I let the photos tell the story on this page... boys so excited to play with a new toy... one minute later it was ran over by the car... now boys are sad... that is the story of our Drone.
#16 Photography Challenge - Sepia. This one was a challenge for me as I usually like to keep my photos in color when I scrap. But this photo was the perfect candidate to scrap in sepia, as there were so many colors going on in the picture that just didn't work with the gorgeous colors in the kit, and looks much better this way.
# 5 Shaped Text: I wanted to include a small amount of journal without taking away from the design of my page. In Photoshop, I used the square shape tool to draw a path and place my journaling around the page as if it's a border.
#1 Resolutions/Reflections
A non photo layout is rare for me, because I.am.all.about.the.photos. But I felt it was important to record a hard time in our life and how we were looking forward to a brighter New Year.
I chose #9: Stacking papers because well, I've never met a paper I didn't like, haha. Layering papers in a grid is one of my go-to scrapbooking designs because I love the way it creates little "homes" for all the details.
20-Show off your handwriting
I don't love my handwriting but I'm always so glad I had it made into a font. It makes those extra sentimental layouts just a little bit more personal.
