Judging by the poll, the album looks like it'll be the Jack blackboard. So I would think you could start on your recipes and such whenever you want.

Hmmm... so we just do whatever we want with it, as long as it's recipe themed and using the Jack album?
I guess I thought there would be "rules" or a specific kit to use or something...

There's never a specific kit to use.
I believe that as long as it's recipe related, anything goes. Last months theme was favorites, but it was up to you to interpret that. Some did their own favorites, some did their kids favorites, some did favorites about a specific event or time period or person, etc etc.
They like to leave it open so that no one gets excluded. So you could do your favorite recipes, your kids favorite recipes, recipes your grandma/mom handed down to you, your most used recipes, etc etc.
