Brandy what have you got to lose? Anyone for that matter! Just ask, the worst that happens is they say no and you get an even better partner!

Of course I say this and I already have a partner, lol. :o
 
I feel the same....its hard to ask someone and then hear 'no'. Its rough! LOL May have to check out the thread when it starts.

I played season 2 and LOVED it!! I will definitely be playing again. It was lots of fun and I think mostly in part because there was no race to be the first poster or have the most points. If you completed the week you got a prize. simple as that! The prizes were awesome. The challenge themes were so cool, some really got me working outside my box and I have to say some of the layouts I created during the race are now some of my favorites!! The time frame worked well, you had 3 days to work on each of the two layouts for the week, unless you're like me and put off doing both layouts till the last day, lmao! Just be sure you and your partner post on time and triple check each challenges requirements before you're finished and you'll do great!
 
I think it was 6 weeks last time. It was so much fun and I really got to make a new friend out of it too! Laura (lmccandless) and I are already gearing up for the next one...watch out the Atomic Blondes are ready to race!
 
I participated both times and had a blast and got some awesome prizes!! Can't wait to do the next round!!
 
I'm seriously thinking about doing this... I've never done any kind of contest before. The only thing holding me back is the partner thing.. I would hate to mess it up for someone else if I for some reason couldn't keep up! lol
 
That's how I feel Sara, I feel like I want to do it, but my work is so unpredictable. That would be my luck for it to go nuts during those 6 weeks!
 
DO IT DO IT DO IT!! It's really a lot of fun, medium amount of commitment but no financial cost to anyone. Theresa improved so much on my original concept but the idea still remains to help racers find sites and designers that they might not run across otherwise. I never fail to be amazed by the creativity of the challenges the host sites issue. Plus you may get to push your scrapping boundaries and make a new friend! In fact, *I'm* going to be racing this time around too! (But not for the grand prize, just for the fun of it.)
 
Priscilla, if you are still looking for a partner, so am I. If you want, we can team up. If not, and anyone else needs/wants a partner ... I am available!
 
Oh this sounds like lots of fun! Free prizes and you don't have to compete to be "the best" to win?!? Sounds awesome! Guess I'll have to go looking for a partner too :)
 
I'm really thinking of trying it this go around. If anyone wants to partner up with lil' o me, let me know. I'm still a bit bashful about it.
 
This is gonna be sooo fun! Rumor has it, your favorite sweet spot may just be a stop on the race!! Can't wait til ADSR kicks off!

I did this last year and it was such a blast!! I don't think you girls will regret participating it is FUN!! I can't wait until this season starts.
