All the designer examples just make me want to buy, buy, buy...quick question.

What adhesive did you all use on them?

I used Aleene's Tacky all purpose glue. Theres not alot of choice in my town! :) Glue sticks are what I used in my card making days and I wanted to used something a little more durable than those for the albums.

oh ya... and the Xyron products are on sale for 40% off this week at Michaels... but it ends TODAY!! I picked up the Cheetah 2" and an extra roll of adhesive.

Yup get to Michaels today and pick up the xyron cheetah and refills for 40% off. It is soooo easy to use!

Now I wish I could go to Michaels and get the Cheetah at 40% off too :p

I'll call my lss and see if they have this in stock, sometimes if it can tricky to find what I need here...

I also used a Cheetah on one and some scrapbooker's glue from 3M on the first one. The Cheetah ROCKS!

I am blessed to have the big Xyron 900 for large pages and for smaller pages I used the Xyron tape runner or the little sticker one. I have the cheetah too and like it....ok I kind of like xyron I guess LOL!

I also sometimes use these sheets by Wacky Tac that you just press your page to and the glue sticks to the back and you can just paste it to your album or project. I like it because it is repositionable for a few minutes which gives me time to line it exactly where I want it. It becomes permanent as it sits.

Joanne's has a coupon for 40% off one item online through 4/2 and free shipping if you purchase is over $25.00 - you can only use one coupon or the other but just in case you can't find it at your LSS.

I'm running to the LSS today and looking around for these things you speak of...to me it sounds like french...but I'm all for learning a new language!

I used ModPodge Matte and foam brush for my examples. The girl album I sprayed with a paper sealant - but I don't like the rough/matte finish it left. The boy album I sealed with ModPodge and I'm very happy with it. I am tempted to try the Xyron Cheetah next time though and seal with ModPodge. Oh - and I used glue dots to adhere the extra buttons, charms, flowers and ribbons. :)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, now I just need to go buy some. I have the Tombo Mono Adhesive but I need a refill and I have Mod Podge, but it gets so tacky here in the humidity...so I think I will just go buy the Xyron Cheetah. :)

love love love my Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue on chipboard, especially for funky rounded edges and little corners using the fine tip. And remember a little goes a long way, you do not need to cover the entire pieces with glue. :)

I usually just use Mod Podge or my Xyron Cheetah on my chipboard albums. But I need a Cheetah refill so I think I need to run to Michael's today since they are on sale! And I think I'll pick up a bottle of this Mono Multi stuff to try too!

I heart Tombow.

I have a Xyron 510 and can't stand it. I'm probably the only person alive, lol.

ETA:I just looked up the Cheetah and that looks WAY better. I'm gonna have to check Joann and use my next coupon in it.
