Can I just say how much I LOVE the new size here for uploads? For some reason, that extra bit really makes the layouts so much easier to see details and get a real feel of the layout. I wish everyone would switch over. Thanks for such a great change!
 
I want to switch!! I haven't yet, because I haven't checked other galleries size requirements, and I don't want to save more than one lo size for web to accomodate all the galleries I post at. I should check them, because I do love the bigger size!!
 
I just switched over last week and I totally agree that the size is awesome! I was kind of resistant to the change but I definitely like it now :)
 
I like the look but I also don't want to have to save to web layouts and resize twice! It's just an extra step for something that already takes me awhile!
 
I LOVE it... so much so that I save 2 web sized versions now... one at 700 and one at 600 for the other galleries
 
I use a save for web action so I'll stick to the 600x600 until I can get a new action. LOL!
 
It looks so much better to me that when I see a layout not that size here, I am all disappointed. I do save myself though and just save 2 web layouts. That's why I want all the other galleries to switch over, too.
 
I wasn't keen at first but after a week or so it became habit to do a 700x700 and I LOVE the bigger pages now. I have save actions so once I've ran it over my print size I just put that one to 700 and then I run the 600x600 action over the other one so it's not too much extra work for me in the long run.

I wish everywhere did 700x700!
 
I love the bigger size, but I love the 250 KB limit even more! When it was 150 kb for a 600x600 I used to sometimes have to save at 500x500 or go with a quality of 4 (out of 12) to keep it gallery friendly. It's so much easier to have a nice looking gallery version now.
 
I post my 700*700 lo's in most of my galleries without a problem! They do show up as 600 *600, but I don't make 2 different sizes!
 
I don't post anywhere else, so I don't know why I haven't made the switch. I guess it's just out of habit. I need to switch (and change my optimize to file size, as well).

I have an action and it reduced to 600x600... and what I did was install it a second time and changed one of them to save to 700x700... super easy :wub:
 
I only save one version... I upload my 700x700 layouts to a couple different galleries and they all seem to accept them just fine.
 
Yeah--I think other galleries might have a size (MB) issue, but not so much a dimensions issue. :thumbup:

And with any action, you can open it up, delete a step and then record a new step. Just have a sample layout to resize and record that one step and poof! Your action is updated! :D
 
I accidentally uploaded my 700x700 in another site's gallery once, but it didn't work well. The gallery automatically resized it to fit and it ended up blurred and looking terrible. Maybe it was the KB rather than the dimensions that caused the problem, but I just save a 600 and a 700 for all my CT LOs now.
 
I love the new bigger size too... now I wish all the galleries would do the same, because that would rock my socks!!! <3
 
Throwing my two cents in to say that the galleries at MSA, DST and MSS all don't have issues with the bigger sizes.
 
Me So Scrappy is MSS, I'm pretty sure. I could be wrong though as I'm terribly out of the loop these days. I haven't been to MSA or DST in a while.
 
Yes, MSS is Me So Scrappy. Even though they have a store now, the gallery is still open and even allows links. There is also a Gallery Standout Blog with a LOTW associated with it. :)
