I love to watch movies and have a collection of dvds. However, it is easier to watch movies on my old computer while I am scrapping rather than the tv in the living room where the dvd player is. I found out that you can scan the UPC code of many movies and convert them to digital movies at Fandango and their "At Home" section. For $2.00 you can get a SD version of your dvd. The higher resolution movies are $5.00 but the $2.00 movies have all looked great so I stick with that because I get more bang for my buck!
. It's also nice because dvds can get scratched or worn over time. You can't do this with all videos but I have done it with many videos. I think Disney movies are excluded and some other production companies. You can also look on their $5.00 deals and purchase great movies that way. They do have $5.00 Disney classics that are included which is great! They change out the titles every week or so.
Here is the link to use on your phone ( You have to use your phone to scan so they can use your location to be sure you are actually at your house and not at Walmart etc. scanning UPC codes
