I've read/heard reports that even employees of FB can't get into the building since it also affected their internal systems.

One report I read said that they were doing something internally that had to do with the way it is found on the internet (DNS stuff) and the changes caused it to disappear entirely.

And, isn't it ironic that FB has to post updates to Twitter
