Default How's the weather in your area?

We have had a much warmer than usual spring this year, amazingly breaking some records for temperatures and for rainfall amounts. But even more amazing is that the weather forecast is such that I felt good about buying my outdoor annual plants earlier this week (before Mother's Day!!! which is normally not a good idea in NE Indiana). One of our local weather forecasters bought his plants too because he says we're done having frosts. Sure hope he's right! Looking forward to enjoying my outside plants for an extended season.

This is me and my kids' first year out in the midwest and the tornadoes freaked us out a little bit, ngl. We're in Ohio and we've seen a record number of tornadoes this year, the closest one only a couple miles out from us. Thankfully we have a basement, but I've had to learn a lot about the weather since moving out here!

We've had an interesting spring- some upper 60° days with sun & just gorgeous, then some really windy/stormy/rainy cold days. I ~think~ we might be finally out of the frost at night stage, but no one here really puts plants outside until after Mother's day.

We're heading into winter here. Nights are getting colder, but it's still ok during the day. I'm glad it doesn't snow where I live because anything below 10C is cold enough for me!

We haven't done our spring garden yet. The one year I did it before May, it snowed 6" in an unexpected snow event and nothing really recovered. Now we have rain and in a couple days I have my 2nd cataract surgery so won't want dirt flying around my eyes. I think all the garden stuff will be going in late this year.

It's autumn here in Australia and I felt this time around it's so cold, it felt like we're already in winter!
I love autumn season the most because it's not that cold yet but man, last month we already took the thick blanket and all the fleece out because it's so cold already!

We hadn't really had Spring yet. It was mostly cold, windy and rainy. We had a few nice Spring days with nice weather, but not a lot.
