Help! Mac gurus?
I'm really getting irritated with my MBP automatically changing my American spellings into British (like agonized becoming agonised, etc etc). I've gone into System Prefs and all the Language options (English is top of my preferred languages, Input Sources is set to US English - International PC) but it's still happening :/
If I can't change the language, I want to at least de-activate the auto-Spell check. It's annoying that I've sent an email and I belatedly realised (GAH! see, that last word was auto spell-checked!) it's all in British English. Thanks so muchly for the help! |

I'm not at home right now, Lex. But, when I get back I'll take a look at my puter and see if I can figure something out. Most likely, someone else will come along who can help you before me, but if not I'll see what I can find. Good luck!

Joel says to ctrl click in the text box and it should give you options which includes disabling autocorrect. Does that help?

Meghan, my region is set to my country - Philippines. Okay I set my language to just US. I'm still getting squiggly red lines for my American spellings though :/ |
