Default Help me with some good romance books!

Hi everyone,
When I'm not being creative, I love to read. I used to read Dutch books (because I'm a Dutchie), but with the book prizes getting higher within the minute, I started reading in English. It's not only cheaper, but I hope it improves my English as well. I love to read all kind of genres but found out dat theromance one are a little bit easier to get into than the thriller ones, because of the language.
So my question is, do any of you have any good recommodations for me?

I wish I had some good recommendations for you. Romance is so not my genre. My daughter reads "smut" though as she likes to call it which always gives me a laugh when she comes home from the bookstore with a pile of smutty romances. If you want her recommendations, I'll be glad to ask her later

Oh I have a lot of romance books to recommend that I have recently read. Depending on how steamy you want as well...

Bright Lights, Big Christmas by Mary Kay Andrews was super cute and not too dirty. Anything by her is great & easy reads

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren - also any other titles by this author (it's actually two authors that cowrite.)

Summer Reading by Jenn Mckinlay

The Love hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston

If you're into historical romance, Jude Devereux is fun to read... with only a little bit of smut. "Bodice ripper" is what I like to call those. LOL

Okay only this post have already learned my a new word! Never heard of "smut" before, so google translate came to the rescue. LOL. But came to the conclusion that "talking" here on the forum is also a big hekp in improving mine English.
But back to the books
A little bit of "smut" is okay, I have already read The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren and The Love hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood, love the books from Jenny Colgan, Ceclia Ahern, Colleen Hoover, that kind of stuff. Also loved the seven sisters books.
Just finish a book from Natasha Madison with a little bit of smut in it and loved it as well.

I'll list a few!

A lot of us use goodreads if you want to check that out as well - that way we can sort of get ideas on what to read, this is mine: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/...=nav_profile_l I've been pretty lazy this last year though and have only mostly been recording books, not rating them

Here are some books that you might like:

Georgia, All Along by Kate Clayborn

Emily Henry is one of my faves
- People We Meet on Vacation
- Beach Read
- Book Lovers
- Happy Place

The entire Bergman Brothers series by Chloe Liese

Books by Lia Louis
- Eight Perfect Hours
- Dear Emmie Blue
- The Key to My Heart

Abby Jimenez
Part of your World and Yours Truly

B.K. Borison
Lovelight Farms, In the Weeds, Mixed Signals

I like most of Katherine Center's books

That's just a handful but there are lots more I'd recommend lol

To add to what Kristin recommended, I also love Katherine Center. I recently read 'Romantic Comedy' by Curtis Sittenfeld and loved it (I don't think I'd previously read a romance by a male?)

I don't have a specific book to recommend, but have you ever tried Book Bub? (bookbub dot com. It's free to sign up and you get emails every day of books on sale. Many of them are free. You can choose what genre you like and you will get recommendations for those types of books. I read all the time and many of these books are really good!

I've been loving Julia Quinn's books. Especially the ones that have inspired the tv series Bridgerton.

Start with the Duke and I and see if you like it.

Also a Dutchie here and I've been reading in English since I was a teen. With a little bit of of a supernatural sprinkle on it, I recommend Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. Full on fantasy: Sarah J. Maas her books are excellent!
