Default Bucket List Travel Spot

Where is a travel spot you'd like to go to within the next year? Could be local or far...

I want to take a road trip up through Quebec along the St. Lawrence to go whale watching. I'm in NY, so it's not too far!

Gosh there's SO many! A realistic one on our list is Jackson Hole, WY. We'll be stopping there on our way to a softball tourney this summer & I can't wait!

It's been many years but Quebec is nice, I have been to Quebec City and Montreal. Keep saying I need to go back.

I would love to go out east-Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick. I am really hoping to go to England in the next year, specifically the city of York and the Yorkshire area.

The Grand Canyon will remain my bucket list travel spot.... was scheduled to go in 2020. Was planning on next summer for my best friend and my 60th birthdays... time will tell if that happens. Fingers crossed!

In the next year I sadly can't see us going anywhere ... 3 appliances replaced in the last few months, have to save up before we can go anywhere!

We are hoping to go to MN this summer to visit family at the lake, it's been 4 years since we've been able to make it and are really hoping to make it work this summer (it's my husband's extended family and we miss them all so much). Our other traveling is wherever soccer takes us so not sure that's bucket list material

I don't know if the schedule is going to allow much travel this year...the only week that all 5 of us will be able to take off at the same time is the last 2 weeks of December. As for smaller local trips, DD and I want to go back to Colonial Williamsburg this summer. It's about 3 hours away, so very doable for us to go for a weekend.

Hoping to go to Europe (Belgium and/or Netherlands) this summer but with the huge (work) project I'm heading, it seems difficult to find a sweet spot to take some time off. Still hopeful though!

We are taking a cruise in September up the east coast and into Canada. We'll be staying in NYC three days prior to setting sail. Going with another couple that are good friends of ours, so it will be a blast!

Currently planning a trip for late July-flying into Pheonix, doing the Grand Canyon, then renting a car and driving Route 66, ending in Vegas for a few days. My boys are 26 and 21 so should be fun! I have been to the Grand Canyon but my family has not. Vegas will be a first for all of us.

Dream trip will be Ireland! Maybe next year!

Hmmm... great question... we don't have much in plans this year. Next weekend we will get the camper ready for summer and those trips are always within an hour or two from home.

My son graduates high school next year and we talked about doing a senior trip (we homeschool)... he would like to do England/France, the western loop of National Parks, or drive along the west coast from Seattle to San Diego... we haven't decided which one we are going to do yet - hubby only can take a week off from work.

Is it bad that when I have vacay money, I just want to go to Hawaii over and over again?

We've done Europe and Iceland and Mexico and a couple of cruises, but when it comes right down to it and it's a where do you want to go moment... I just want to go back and sit on a beach chair in front of the Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki Beach for 7 days straight lol I'm a woman of simple tastes I guess!

We are planning on Tokyo for Fall 2025. I need to start walking now to prepare and even then, I think I'm not going to be prepared!

Now that all the health issues are straightened out, I can travel. I've been retired since 2017 and haven't even been able to travel so I'm raring to go!

Starting small with a bus tour to Cape Cod in October. Want to go to Alaska in 2025 but so far no luck finding someone to go with me (not fond of traveling alone).

We're doing Disney at Cali in 10 days, and to the PNW coast this July. We've been to both places so just revisiting with the littlest one.

Next year we may head back to Asia. The Japanese Yen has gotten so cheap and my parents have already been to Japan 3 times in the past 2 months (they're there now actually). I hope it stays that way!!

And my dream vacation is to Europe. Britain to visit my favorite authors' houses and Germany to go watch a soccer match.

We're going to Disney World at the end of the month so that's our big travel for the year but I hope to add in a few more local-ish places too! We've lived just outside Savannah for 10 months now and have barely seen the city yet and still want to go to the Tybee Island, Hilton Head, Charleston etc.

Rome. It has always been a fascination for me, so we're going to go in June/July after a mediterranean cruise. SO excited!

My dream ones are out of the budget for the next year. But we are taking a Disney Cruise back to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay. We will be going to the WDW area for a few days before then. But nothing bucket list worthy for another couple years!

Past heading to Toronto to see my dad, I haven't even thought about travel. I have a difficult back and it can make travel tricky - I also despise planning our trips and yet my husband makes me. So maybe he'll go nowhere. Ha ha.

I am from Canada and Quebec is beautiful and a great choice to visit. I just retired so have been doing some traveling, London, France, Netherlands, Wales, Scotland, Florida, California and have a trip planned for this fall to Italy.

Oh gosh, that's a tough question lol... There are so many places I'd like to visit this year and the next, and the next .... But if I have to make a choice I'd say Italy and Germany.

I have amazing trips planned. I will be going to England & France next month, then upstate NY in July, and Washington DC in October. Those are all booked. Next year, I am planning to take my son to the UK and Ireland. My dream spot that I have no actual plans for is Brugges, Belgium.

Yup, me too!
I would like to convince my husband to drive to the Poconos for a day to hike some of the trails, but besides traveling for baseball games, that's about it for this year!

Sadly that is true. It cost me almost as much to go to BC last year as it did to fly to Scotland. Depending on the time of year it is actually the same or more.

Yes, our humidity is brutal some days. Central air is a need not a want in my opinion.
