If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money. There are some rules:

1. You can only spend a set amount on Scrapbooking supplies, so how will you make your money go further?
2. You can only pay off 1 bill, so what would you pay off?
3. You can only go on one vacation so where are you going?
4. You can only purchase one LARGE item, so what are you purchasing?


my answers:
1. I would save up my money for this and shop during the BIG sales, that is how I usually budget right now anyways!
2. I would pay off the House (maybe we could actually move than)
3. I would go on a Cruise overseas that hits a couple different countries- Greece, Italy...those are a couple main ones I would love to see.
4. A car. We have 3 cars for 6 people currently and a 4th car would help greatly.

We're fortunate enough to not have any debts at the moment so this would be wasted on me but if I had a crystal ball and knew this was coming (don't we all wish that?!) I'd go buy the car I know my daughter will need sooner than later. The one we're giving her is our old hand me down and has 150K miles already plus we have another child fast approaching her license too!

3. You can only go on one vacation so where are you going? My ultimate bucket list destination is Barcelona Spain. I'm obsessed with Antoni Gaudi and would love to see some of his works in person!

4. You can only purchase one LARGE item, so what are you purchasing? A home. After 16 years in the military, always renting, I'm dreaming of the day we can buy a house and make it our home once and for all!

I'd probably plan a big ski vacation. Not that I have any interest in skiing. lol My husband used to ski and would love to take are youngest son to see all the snow & big mountains and to experience the slopes. (Maybe I could sit by a fireplace and read? lol)

I'd love to see my husband have a nice, new truck.

We don't really have debt, but I would sock away money for kiddo's college - that will be starting in Fall of 2025

Sales!! I would actually spend more on getting my layouts printed, I have a huge backlog and would love to get them printed, but all at once is too much $

Can I cheat and just say 'Europe'? If not, then specifically I would say Ireland. I've wanted to go for a long time

Cabin on a lake resort, that has amenities (there is a resort nearby that I would pick). The 'cabins' are about as much money as our house lol

New house probably- downsize house size, upsize land/property size. My hubby has this specific lotto dream- he wants to build an epic sports complex in our area with ice rinks, ball fields, etc with a hotel/restaurant/bar in the middle of all of them.

well.. this one isn't fair for me because one of the biggest perks to designing here is having access to the other designers products.. but I also don't really scrap anymore If i won the lottery though maybe i'd travel to all sorts of new places and start doing travel albums?

ru and i will sometimes joke about running away from our problems to costa rica so i'll take her and go there LOL

A house for one of my kids! I don't know which one though?! maybe they can fight for it haha. I seriously feel so bad that this next generation is going to have such a hard time to even purchase a house or anything like that. It weighs on my mind a lot what an uphill battle things are going to be for them

Since I already have access to the SSD shoppe, I'd use the money for printing photobooks. They can get expensive - especially with postage to NZ.

We've just recently finished paying off our mortgage, so like Reba I'd put money aside for retirement or the kids.

Europe!! but I'd go for several months, not just a few weeks.

I don't actually spend much time dreaming about winning the lottery, so these made me think a little.

If the set amount was enough, I would buy my favorite store so that I would always have access to the good stuff. Hello, Robin...

I still owe on the house, so that would be the one.

A tour of Europe. I would need to last about a year for me to see and do everything I want to see and do. LOL

I have no idea, but since I am kind of fascinated with preppers, maybe I would buy a self sustaining home and start living off the grid. I may read too much post apocolypse stuff.

OMG, this weighs on me too. When my husband died I was left in tough shape, so I have always wanted to make sure that my son was left in good shape when I passed. I have been working on it for most of his life and have high hopes that he and my grandkids will be proud of what I accomplished for them.

I can't decide! Maybe I'd plan a trip to all the Disney parks in the world and spend a few days in each country doing non-Disney stuff.

I hope I won a LOT of money, because that's what I need for my large item! I have a son who is autistic and has other disabilities. He's probably never going to live independently, but from what I know of group homes they may be too limiting for him. I know there are a lot of autistic adults in the same situation. I'd like to buy a small apartment building and set it up as a supported living facility where people could get the supports they need to live as independent a life as they're capable of. I'd also want to staff the building and pay the employees well so that turnover is low. The facility would also be able to help the residents find and keep jobs.

That sounds amazing! I have a friend who's autistic daughter lives in one of those group homes. I actually pray you inherit or win some money to make this happen! I imagine you would fill up those rooms quickly! ((HUGS))
