Default School Album

I've been dedicating a lot of time to completing my DD's school album since she will be graduating HS in 9 months

I went through all my photos (in SmugMug) and created a spreadsheet with the events and links to the photos.
Then I create the LO. At this stage it is fun because the amount of options I have is so great and I can work on photos that inspire me or fit a kit that I want to use.
I save the layout in her School Album Folder on my HD, in the album in SmugMug for back up and in Shutterfly where I will print her book.
Rinse and Repeat

At this point I feel good about getting the album done in time but I know I can't let up the gas.

Way to keep up with it! It looks fantastic! My older daughter is a senior in college, and I haven't gotten her album done. :0

Wow congrats! It's just wonderful and all your layouts are so pretty! I would love doing this too but I'm very late!

Great job! I have made a School album for all 3 of my HS graduates (with one more this year). I am even considering doing college albums for the oldest 3, but we shall see!

The last few months will go super fast! And there is so much thrown into those months! You may want to print one album early spring with all the layouts you can, and then once graduation and all that goes into it is finished, print another one over the summer for her to have before she goes away to College!

Good luck! It can be a fun project!

This is soooooo AWESOME! What amazing pages, and I think with your organization and determination, you'll get it done in time. What a treasure this will be.

I really need to get myself together and finish both Olivia's and Daniel's school albums.

I did make a slideshow when Olivia turned 18. I just went through my completed layouts folders by year. I save the layouts by the title, then who is on the layout, and the date . . . makes it super easy to find layouts that Olivia was in.

If anyone is interested in watching, here is the slideshow link: https://youtu.be/cL_f1I1nKEI. It was nice to have it playing in the background when we had her birthday party.

729 paper and digital scrapbooking layouts of Olivia's 18 years! It not only shows her growing up, but also shows how different paper scrapbooking was in the late 90's as well as how my skills and style changed with time and trends.

Looks amazing! I had 12 years to do my son's school book - and I have one year done that I just finished this weekend, lol... oy, I'm kicking myself for not starting earlier.

It looks great!

Keep plugging along!

Keira graduated in 2023 and she ended up with 4 volumes, LOL!

I started working on the books for the boys and I'm currently caught up on theirs too. Harper's is so easy because I'm just swapping his photos out.

Keira's took me like 7 years and i was scrambling right before Graduation.

You're doing a beautiful job!

Shoot, my work computer won't let me see anything, but I know it is wonderful. I will be back to see it later.
