For non-template users

I know that a lot of people don't like templates...but, I LOVE them!! I almost never create a LO without one.

For those of you who don't use templates, where do you get your ideas from? Where/how do you start a LO?

I'd love to give it a shot, but I feel like I'd be staring at a blank page and not get anywhere!
