anxious
SO anxious for my first prenatal appointment tomorrow! I am praying that they'll be able to hear the heartbeat or do a vaginal ultrasound (my friend just delivered at this clinic, and she said it's standard that they do an ultrasound at the first appt... I hope that's true!).
With my daughter, I was really too young and naive to worry too much. I was 19 and figured it would be my first of many pregnancies, etc. With this one, I sorta know it's my last chance. If something goes wrong with this pregnancy, we probably won't try again. That makes me a little sad. So, I'm freaking myself out which i KNOW is unhealthy. Still, I'll feel MUCH better tomorrow when after my first appointment, I have some information and can feel certain that things are looking ok. I *think* I'm about 10 weeks now, but honestly, my period was so irregular that it's hard to say when I ovulated. I don't think I'm MORE than 11 weeks, and I think I'm at least 9 weeks (based on when I was allowed to have intercourse after my surgery and when I started feeling symptoms). So, I think I'm pretty close on my guess, but I'm anxious to get an exact due date... apparently that's why they do an ultrasound so early now... to start off with an accurate due date. Who knew? Aww, chickie, praying for you!
 I had my son at 19 too! What a coinky-dink! I had my daughter 10 years later. You will not believe the obnoxious questions you'll be getting lol. Prepare a snarky comment now haha. The nurse in the L&D room asked, in front of my family and son, if the kids had the same father! And if I "planned" her. If I hadn't been in so much pain I might have thrown a pillow at her, but I needed it for my back labor.

Sending lots of prayers for a healthy and happy 9 months!!! I have had a "dating" u/s with my last three pregnancies...in fact, I was a lucky one b/c they did lots of standard ones: to date, at 12 weeks, 20 weeks and 28 weeks!!!!! I even had a few others squeezed in there too!!!

hehe thanks for the advice guys! I actually don't have to try to play too dumb because I'm really not sure! LOL So hopefully they'll do one to help us figure it out. Can't wait!!!
