Default What TV Show Are You Obsessed With Right Now?

I've been absolutely loving Silo on AppleTV, and while I'm (not so patiently) waiting for the next season, I decided to check out Paradise on Hulu. I wasn't sure what to expect, but after the first episode, I’m completely hooked! Now I'm stuck in that dreaded waiting game for new episodes to drop. 😆

Anyone else watching Silo or Paradise? What shows are you obsessed with right now? I need some good recommendations to fill the gaps between episodes!

I can never seem to keep up with what is new...I have been enjoying Severance as far as something "new". But I often find myself going back to things I've watched before in the past, like Parks and Rec or Murder She Wrote.. Lately for me that is The West Wing. Which, given the tension of the current political landscape feels positively utopian right now. Haha

Oh gosh! I totally forgot about Silo being on Apple TV! I read the books (amazing!) and really wanted to watch it. I know what I'm going to do this weekend.

Sara: I have heard a lot about Severance and have thought about checking it out! I watch a lot of oldies too (I watch X-Files and MASH over and over haha).

Robin: Yes! It is so good! My son has the books and I have been waiting on him to finish the first book so I can read it. I keep telling him I am going to just steal it as he takes way longer to read than I do haha.

I read more now than watch TV but Hubby and I have been watching Night Agent on Netflix, Shrinking on Apple and Tracker but It is usually one episode every so often. It takes us forever to finish a show exp since both of us are reading Onyx Storm right now.

When I do my work out I watch CSI

I'm a fan of competition reality shows.

So right now it is Deal or No Deal Island season 2. Might binge season 1 this weekend.

Also, Season 3 of The Traitors. Have also watched The Traitors UK Season 1 and 2 and The Traitors Australia Season 1. Still need to watch The Traitors NZ Season 1 and The Traitors Australia Season 2. Hoping The Traitors US Season 3 and The Traitors NZ Season 2 come to Peacock soon.

I also watch The Challenge and an All-Stars season just started last week.

I'm watching old episodes of ER, LOL! I haven't really found anything great lately. I hate how shows now have like 10 episodes and you have to wait years between seasons. I'm not that patient!

I'm on a Downton Abby kick right now - I think this is the 3rd time I've watched it - lol.
Also sort of hooked on Lifetime's Married at First Sight, but that's just once a week.
I'm patiently waiting for Survivor and Amazing Race to start again.

Hugh Howey's Silo series is one of my favorite reads!

I've started watching Fallout, which I'm thoroughly enjoying. My husband and I are anxiously awaiting Season 3 of Reacher, which comes out later this month. And in the meanwhile, we're watching old episodes of Suits.

I will have to check out both of those.
I finished Lioness and The Diplomat and liked them both.

My husband parceled out the episodes, one a night, and we STILL flew through them way too fast. We're watching our favorite streamer do all sorts of Fallout play-throughs every night at bedtime because I fell in love with the franchise. (I should probably scrap another page about that but taking photos in basically no lighting on my cell phone isn't my fave.)

I'm also trying to parcel out episodes of Wildcard Kitchen because it's my new favorite cooking competition show.

I'm not watching anything with a plot right now because it cuts into my reading time and I kind of want to exceed my ridiculous book count from 2024. (My goal was 30. I hit 160. Now I want 240.)

I am a HUGE Traitors fan and have watched all the seasons. I think UK and Australia were my favourites.

I am also currently watching The Challenge Rivals.

Huge RuPaul Drag Race fan here, so I am invested in that right now. Also, I have been watching The Beast Games on Prime.

I have started watching Call the Midwife and am really enjoying that when I'm not watching my 'fluff reality' shows

Right now I'm loving Bad Sisters and Severance on Apple! Also loved Silo and Shrinking. When I'm done this season of Bad Sisters, I'm going to watch Season 3 of From on Paramount Plus. Sort of a creepy thriller. If you like creepy/scary stuff, I loved The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix. Plus there are a slew of other Netflix shows by Mike Flanagan with many of the same actors: The Haunting of Bly Manor, The Fall of the House of Usher, Midnight Mass, and The Midnight Club.

I don't watch a lot of TV. I usually read or play games on my phone while hubby is watching. If I do watch, it's something light and silly. Right now we're re-watching Monk. Next we'll probably re-watch Schitts Creek. I may try to get hubby to watch Downton Abbey, but he usually falls asleep with "period" shows. lol

My husband started a feee trial of paramount+ to watch the ravens play a few weeks ago and I thought I would take advantage and watch Dexter New Blood and Original Sin since I loved the show Dexter. Those two shows were no disappointment!! But I realized that Original Sin is releasing episodes every week so I’m missing the last part of the season

I've been working my way through ER ... I think I'm up to Season 13 of 15 seasons.

Next up, I'm going to re-watch Season 7, part 1 of Outlander before watching Season 7, part 2.

Kimberly: I love Tracker, too! I am ready for new episodes haha. My niece is all about Onyx Storm. She keeps telling me I need to start the series.

HaveaDrPepper: Those all sound fun! I haven't watched Deal or No Deal in a long time. That was always a good one to watch.

Lynn: We used to watch ER all the time. I should start it over! I agree with new shows. Not very long seasons and long wait between them. I am still waiting for the last of Stranger Things to drop. I think they all might be in retirement homes by the time they release it haha.

Jill: Love Amazing Race! I know so many love Downton Abbey and I have never stopped to check it out. Sounds like I need to!

Angie: Reacher is a good one! And yes to Hugh Howie's series. I just need to buy my own books haha. I haven't watched Fallout.

Krista: I don't think I know what those two are about. I am going to have to check them out.

Jaye: Sounds like I need to check out Traitors! Fluff reality shows can be a good thing to break things up in the world haha.

Brendazzle: I love cooking competitions as well! They make me hungry, though hehe.

Dani: I loved the preview I saw of Bad Sisters and thought about checking it out. Severance has been on my radar, too. I keep seeing it being mentioned in various groups.

Tammy: I like to do puzzles or my farm on my phone while watching things haha. LOVE Monk! That is one I can watch on repeat. I tend to watch series like that again too.

Lea: Oh no! on missing the end! That is how they get you with the free trials haha, come check it out and now you need to stay to finish things up hehe.

Memaw: Love both ER and Outlander!

Dawn: I don't think I have heard of Shining Vale! I will have to look that one up!

1. Shrinking.
Harrison Ford is so good at comedy. It's a feel good tv show. Every actor is amazing. Ted Mcginley (Mr. Darcy) is the best part of the show.

2. Virgin River
I love this show. I want to move to a place like that. I haven't started watching Season 6 yet. I know I'm going to binge watch it, so it has to be when I have free time.

3. Will Trent. Currently started Season 3. A good crime show. It reminds me of Monk.

4. Lincoln Lawyer finished watching Season 3. A Lawyer show. Not like Suits, but it's good.

5. Nobody Wants this Season 1, 10 episodes. A romantic comedy. A kiss that went viral.

I'm waiting for a few shows to start again soon. For now I'm watching these ones, or just finished them.

My biggest obsession was Supernatural, but it ended in 2020, after 15 Seasons. My celebrity crush is Jensen Ackles.

I love true crime/mysteries and just finished 21 seasons of On The Case with Paula Zahn a few weeks ago. That took me a while, but I liked it, both because the shows were good and because I liked having a huge lineup like that. Trying to decide what to watch makes me batty, so I like to be able to binge series.

Right now I am hooked on documenteries about Mt. Everest. I have always been fascinated by people who are obsessed with climbing to the top of the world despite all the danger and the staggering cost. I don't understand the need, so hearing people try to explain it is so interesting. It still doesn't make sense to me, but it is still fascinating.

There are so many stories attached to it, therefore so many documenteries, I could be at it a while.

I like true crime/mysteries as well. Quite often I will turn on one of the channels that carries shows like Dateline, Snapped, Forensic Files, Cold Justice and have it on all day. That would be Oxygen, ID Channel, OWN and a channel on my cable called TrueCrime Network.

I never watched Poldark when it first aired in the UK. Spotted it on Netflix and am now binge-watching before it leaves at the end of the month.

Poldark is one of my all-time favorites! I still keep hoping they make more seasons since there are more books in the series it was based off. I'll have to look for it on Netflix!

My husband and I have been watching "Solo Leveling" (an anime!) and also Skeleton Crew on Disney ( a cute throwback to Goonies-type fun).

Man, I keep forgetting about what is on Apple... too many streaming services!

We are binging Last Resort 90 Days to get caught up... Before 90 days was a long season... and took us a long time to get through that. Then before bed we watch two sitcoms... We are in American Auto on Peacock, before that was SuperStore. I love comedy sitcoms.

My favorite show we've binged in the last year was Young Sheldon. The episodes were short and the subject matter hit home for us. It touched us both emotionally.

We are currently bouncing back and forth between Nikita (that we've watched before) and Leverage (for the first time). They're both fine, but I play 1010 the entire time I watch them both so not really drawing me in that much lol ... We binged Night Agent Season 2 a few weeks ago, and that was pretty good - I thought first season was better though.

Dexter: Original Sin, a prequel to Dexter. Absolutely love it, I finished it & started watching the original series from the start again & it had been so long that I forgot it all & it was like watching for the first time again.

Also an Australian series called Black Snow. Just finished season 1 and loved it, now onto season 2.

And this week is season 3 of Reacher which I am excited for.

Also loving Matlock.

My dog Jelly loved Young Shelton. Whenever she was in the house, if she heard the theme song start, she would come running, get up on the couch and watch it. I think it was the cow at the beginning that got her. She was probably waiting for another cow to show up. LOL

It's not new, and my husband and I have already seen the whole series, but we've been watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine again, this time with our 19 year old daughter, and we're loving it all over again.
