What is your "go to" font?

Just wondering.... Do you have a "go to" font? One that you seem to use more than another? The good standby?

I seem to use only a couple ones and need to branch out. I have a few of Darcy's fonts (yeah!), but need to find that one that is a really good standby one.

I love Mary Magpie, Scruffy Angel, Jenna, and Me & My Shadow... just to name a few.

i have many - traveling typewriter for a type font. i have 3 ones that i am loving right now - djb zoe, djb carly sue got married, djb i love me some aly. others that i use a lot - djb boryfriend jeans, djb mrs webster.

Seriously though, I always choose one of Darcy's.

Out of Darcy's, my top ones include Jenna, Zora, Tweenybopper and CoffeShoppe. For some purposes, Gimme More Space is a genius font. Darcy's fonts are perfect for journalling, you rarely find such good ones elsewhere.

Out of non-Darcy ones, I love Engebrechtre for journalling and CK Cursive for fancy titles.

I also love typewriter fonts, right now Adler is my fave, but there are several ones that I love. I also love grungy ones for titles, such as BrokenGhost.

I find myself using mostly handwritten ones and mostly Darcy's. My favourite is a retired one (I believe), DJB Krystal.

Oh, and Aly's hand adds a nice dramatic effect, when I want something most "drasticly" handwritten.

I'm a huge Cathy Zielske fan, so I love PMN Caecelia and Avenir. If I'm doing a clean and simple layout, those are my choices (and two she uses a lot). If I'm getting a bit messier, I love Darcy's Gimme Space, Mrs. Webster, Beanpole, Coffeeshop and Lemonhead. Faves.

Oh, and my daughter's font -- DJB Mykiah -- I use it whenever I do layouts about her.

I am a DJB font junkie. Just do yourself a favor and go load your cart with her whole store. Seriously. You will thank me later. THEN, have your own handwriting made. She is a genius. I did mine and now it is in the shoppe (Tara print and cursive). I buy whatever she releases EVERY week too. True story.

See, I told you I am a junkie. I am sure there is a 12 step program but I refuse to go. BUT, I will gladly welcome an intervention just so I can meet some of you ladies!

If I want a print, I use Rough Typewriter, Traveling Typewriter. Recently I've been crushin on Deibi for titles or for phrase/single-sentence journaling.
