Default Topics for an all about "me" album

You ladies have any suggestions?

I want to do a book about me for the kids, or at least my life to this point. LOL!

I know I want to include childhood memories, high school, how I met DH, the wedding, etc.

What would you include in yours?

If you can get it from the library, Angie Pedersen has a great book on this subject called The Book of Me.

The Encyclopedia of An Ordinary Life is another great resource. It's an alphabetical listing of people/places/events/things that are important to the author. But the principle is for you to make one for yourself. I loved the book and was all jazzed to make one of my own, but time and 9054890483290 other projects got in my way, lol.

I would really like to make one before we have kids, and then one in like 10 years or so, just to see how things have changed. Actually, I think when I get home I'm going to start a notebook for it. Just as a place to jot down things as I think of them. Then I can scrap what I want as I go. Thanks for the kick in the butt Vanessa

I haven't done an AAM/BOM page in a long while now.

I think my list was divided up into phases: Childhood/Elem & Middle School, High School, College, Post-College, 'The One,' & Today.

Each phase was further divided into broad-ish categories like Friends, Crushes/BFs, Activities, Jobs (if applicable), Vaca/Special Moments. Since I didn't have a boyfriend until I got to college, I'm pretty sure I just had one two page spread with all my crushes on it and little descrips of each, but things like Activities where I was heavily involved in 5-6 things all through HS each got their own page in addition to a more general Awards/Accolades pages for all my activities combined.

KWIM? You make it work to fit your life. At some point, I will make a few AAM pages abt my first marriage & divorce, and those will go in there, too, but obviously, I will not go into a lot of detail or otherwise harp on the subject.

The 'Today' stuff is much easier: your current likes/dislikes, regular routine, current job, etc.

HTH!
