I thought the majority of the commercials this year were horrible. Like did all the advertising agencies get together and decide it was the year of sappy/sad commercials? It's the Superbowl - know your audience!
I did think the puppy/clydesdale one was cute otherwise I was way underwhelmed. |

We made the same comments. I did like the Jeep one, though, but really, I'm not a tough sell for travel themes...

Most of the commercials were Meh.
#LikeAGirl was good. empowering message. Fiat- little blue pill- made us laugh Clydesdale puppy- all the feels and cute Nationwide- HORRENDOUS and atrocious.

Agreed. Definitely not the best year for commercials. What the heck with all the sad/sappy commercials? It was quite a downer!
I liked the Clydesdale puppy, the little blue pill, the middle seat Doritos, and the live action PacMan. I did get a chuckle out of the one with Katie Couric from 1994 about "what is the internet"? I thought that was clever. Overall though, totally bored. |

YES. I'm still stressed out about that one but I felt validated when all the anchors on the Today show agreed this morning about how horrible it was. I get the message, but good grief.

My sister was in tears last night over the Nationwide Commercial. She has a daughter that will never grow up. I didn't watch the superbowl, but googled that commercial after she mentioned it and wow. So insensitive! There are a thousand thousand parents who have lost children and that seemed like a slap in the face.

Adam's comment was that he'd never buy Nationwide insurance now so it wasn't exactly a good advertisement for their company either.

I liked the one with the First Super Bowl draft -- funny. And I liked the car commercial with the advice from the people over 100 years old. Thought that was kinda clever and amusing.

For the most part, I found a lot of them blah.....and MOST of them were for cars? what's up with that!?!
Fiat - Little blue pill.... that definitely won for most laughs! Esurance - Walter White in the Pharmacy nearly killed me! LOVED IT! LOL Budweiser - the horse and puppy is always a winner every year! Best Movie Trailers - Minions, Fast and Furious 7, and Ted 2

I wasn't too impressed either, but I did LOL quite a bit over the Fiat commercial (little blue pill).
I also got a laugh out of the Katie/Bryant commercial because I can remember so well the first time I ever heard of or went on the internet |

Agree with what ever has already said. Awful commercials.
The Doritos one with the guy on the plane made me laugh. |

I thought overall they were terrible. My favorite came on before the game even started. It was the Mountain Dew Kickstart one. My son was in hysterics over it. So maybe that's why it was my favorite. I also liked the Budweiser puppy one. Super cute.

I liked the ones mentioned.
I was mad there wasn't a new Greek Yogurt one with John Stamos, or a Rob Lowe Direct TV one. Also, I like the All State ones with Dennis from 30 Rock, but there wasn't a new one of those either. The Fight Like a Girl commercial is old, I hate when they don't do something new. |
