I'm curious as well. I was just thinking about looking in to it. Great question!

I used to do a class that was a mixture of yoga, pilates, and Thai Chi. It was fun. I would love to try the Pilates machine someday though

I'm seeing this all the time as well! It looks way too easy to be effective but maybe I'm wrong? I'd love to hear from someone who's actually tried it!

I am trying to retrain my brain from thinking moving my body is only for weight loss, into more how I feel. It's a really hard shift to make, and I thought this might be a way.

I've done Pilates on a machine, but not at home. I've been looking into getting a small rebounder. I read that its a good all-body workout.

LOL! I'm getting a "grandma" one with a handle just to be sure I don't fall and break something.

I used to "jog" on a rebounder for exercise and it worked great for me. I lost 80 lbs. using it, felt great and had fun. I had no idea they had them with handles and am tempted to get one and take it up again.

I tried to do the regular pilates years ago(actually about 20 years ago LOL), and it did not feel good on my back. I switched to yoga, which was so much better for me! I started out slow and got hooked on it (I used GAIAM videos). A lost inches and weight, especially once I started doing the faster yoga (I can't remember what it's called). And the stress relief I got from it was amazing! I want to get back to it, but I've got issues with one of my knees, so I have to be careful what I do.
I'd never heard about rebounders until this post, so I looked it up, and it's looks fun. Lorie had great success with it, so now I'm thinking about getting one -- with handles!!

My balance is not what it once was, so a handle would be a must for me too. It's been a long time, very long time, but I am tempted. I have a bad heal (bone spur wrapped around my achilles) and can't wear a shoe with a back, so I am wondering if I could do it bare foot. Things to think about.

I have an issue with my achilles as well. The only tennis shoe I've found I can wear is Half Cabs by Vans because they don't go up in the back. |
