I generally enjoy them. Of course I find some exhibits more interesting than others. I really enjoy the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago but can breeze through the Field Museum pretty quickly. Our Public Museum in Grand Rapids has had some cool temporary exhibits including a toys through the decades exhibit that was really fun!
