I had Graves Disease, which is a hyperthyroid auto-immune disorder. Having my thyroid removed was one of the best things I ever did. That little gland can cause so much trouble. My mom had thyroid cancer and also had hers removed. With cancer, if you catch it early, the outcomes are very good. Going through two pregnancies after having my thyroid removed was a little bit rough, but I wouldn't change a thing. Hang in there! You'll feel so much better when you get things leveled out.
