Hugs - I've been told I have an enlarged thyroid since I was 16 years old... all the tests came back normal. One doctor finally put me on meds for it - it made me twitchy and I gained 20 pounds! It wasn't helping my numbers, so I just stopped it. But there are different meds... my mom was put on a natural one, and she didn't have the same side affects that I have. So, if you do have meds and you get side effects, know there are different ones out there.
