Just finished. This was different from what I normally read and it was a very cute story. I absolutely agree that it was completely predictable, but that didn't make it bad.
My favorite character would have to be Vance. He had such a defeated, yet calm air about him. So glad he had a bit of an "ah-hah" moment and ended with a little oomph at the end.
