I'm an Android user, and most of these apps aren't available for Android. I spent some time in the Google Play store last night looking for alternatives, and here's what I found.

Journal Notes and Diary Notes Multimedia are both free apps from the same company. Journal Notes is journaling only, and the multimedia version allows you to add multiple photos each day. I upgraded to the paid version, Journal Notes Multimedia, so that I can sync with my computer. (The one disadvantage is that it syncs when you connect through USB, not wirelessly.)

Diaro 3 is similar, but if you're a Dropbox user the paid version of the app can sync with your computer through DropBox. If you want to see more reviews, they're under the previous version, Diaro.

All of these apps have a calendar view, which was a must for me.
