I wonder if any of you that have been doing digital forever have encountered this.
I'm a photobook printer, with the exception of the first year I did digital and my About Me book, everything is Chronological and in photobooks. I even went back years ago and did a simple version of our wedding photos in a photobook.
Recently I had the idea of just uploading all my old layouts to Facebook into private albums, so I have them available when I want to look, then I thought maybe I should reprint that first year of layouts into a photobook, so they all match, it's probably less than 100 pages.
Anyhow, even back in 2006 I always used the same kit twice and as I'm uploading I noticed my pattern was off, there seemed to be a layout I missed, so yesterday I pulled out the big 12 x 12 album of photo print layouts and started flipping through and sure enough I was missing that layout and several more.
Years ago I noticed I was missing like 6 months from 2007, and I feel like I've always been a very good about backing up things.
Anyone else run into that? Noticed old layouts completely gone, but not even sure why? I did those over 17 years ago, no way I still have those kits to try and recreate.
I don't want to re scrap it, that defeats the purpose, then I'll want to redo all those! LOL!
Have you had luck digitizing 12x12 layouts and reprinting them? That I think would be my best option.
I'm going to dig through old back ups to see if I still have anything from way back still hanging around.
My shelf just looks so nice and I'd love to add May 2005 - April 2006 so it's all completely visible, but that big 12x12 binder is an eye sore! LOL!
