ALSO, this makes me a super-weirdo--I transplant volunteer seedlings all the time, because I can't bear to think about how much effort they've been making to grow for me to just pull them up and throw 'em in the compost. I talk to my seedlings and love them so much, so yeah, I'm weird too.
