People throw out left-overs?? That's unheard of here. We often make enough so there is purposely food leftover for the next night or two. Kiwis are pretty frugal in general, so eating leftovers is part and parcel of life here. Blows my mind that not everyone does that. Personally I don't tend to 'remake' things. I just heat it up and have it the same as the previous night. If there's only bits and pieces left we'll put it all in a frypan and fry it up.
