Project Life 2018

Who is doing another year of PL?
Anyone going to try for their first year?

A new year is always so exciting, waiting for all the goodies and new calendar cards thats coming. On the other hand you have the drag of finishing off last years pages, it's going slow and you may not feel motivated to do it again.

I've almost completed my 3rd year and I am so ready to start fresh!

Although I goofed on the Thread Title- we discussed it here:

I am going to challenge myself to quickly start and complete PL 2017 VERY simply! Simple is so not my style so this is going to be hard for me.

I have NO idea what 2018 will look like, but I plan to continue PL.

I was doing this in 2012 and got all the way to July when I found out I was pregnant and possibly losing the baby. I didn't want to document it because I didn't know the outcome so I stopped scrapping. The outcome was I had a baby, but it was hard to go back and finish the year because it was such a rough year, losing his twin.

Will I do it again? It taught me, I'm not that kind of scrapper but I love seeing everyone else's layouts throughout the year.

I've been doing pocket-style albums since 2012, and I am so done. This year has really felt like a drag. I enjoyed it when I was busy working on a pregnancy album & Ari's 1st and 2nd year albums, but now it just seems redundant to scrap each week and also make layouts. In the end, it turns out that I love layouts more than pockets.

So I am excited about going back to monthly recap pages & scrapping events & moments.

It will be my 6th year, and I'm planning to continue. I have so many photos and stories I want to scrap; if I don't get a bunch of them documented on simple PL pages, I'll never get them done. This way I can save the more time consuming (but also more fun) layouts for my favorite pictures and stories.

We had a lot of house projects occupying our time this year, so I've fallen way behind. I have 2016 entirely done and printed, but it took until this fall to do it. [emoji54] In PL I've gotten to July 2017 so far, but I'm still finishing January to April 2017's traditional pages. My goal is to finish PL2017 by March so I can start PL2018 and to finish my traditional 2017 pages by summer. I'm not sure I can manage that, but I'm trying!

I will still be doing PL 2018. Hopefully I will be able to finish my 2017 and print it on February. I'm still doing the Disney pages (and that was in June, LOL!).

That’s why I push on getting my PL done, so I’ll remember the days/memories for when I want to scrap a normal “fun” layout.

I am planning to return to weekly layouts for 2018. 2017 I did monthly and very simple and I missed all the fun SSD products! I found that working with the fun kits each week was what kept me motivated so 2017 was hard.

But, my EHD is not working this week and I'm panicking so I'm sort of stuck doing nothing until I can somehow get that resolved.

Oh, no--I hope you're able to get everything off it!
