Photoshop Elements 2021

Elements 2021 is 44% off today in Amazon.

Is anyone using this version? I’ll be upgrading from elements 2014. How much of a learning curve will it be?

I use 2020, and upgrade every 2 years or so. There will definitely be some changes from 14 to 21, but you're a smart cookie, you'll pick up on it quick and there are a lot more options, especially with fonts like tracking, leading, text on a path, etc. I'd say TOTALLY worthwhile to upgrade regularly!

Thanks! I went ahead and ordered the upgrade... eek. I just want to scrap, I don’t like to be slowed down having to figure out where they put things. 😂

But does it give you more control over shadows? That is really the only thing I am willing to upgrade for.

I feel you!! I went from CS5 to elements 2020 when my computer died, and there are still things I haven’t figured out... I’ll go to do something and be like, oh wait. I don’t know how to do that here

If you have a specific question you can usually just google it and find a video tutorial. I’m not familiar with Elements.

You need to update programs constantly. It's not for nothing that developers improve functionality, add options and expand the capabilities of those who use the program. Trends are changing. If you want to make money, you need to use specialized developments.

I usually upgrade every 2 years, and got 2020 last year. My next upgrade will be 2022. I have the CC subscription and keep trying to get myself to switch over to PS, but it hasn't happened yet. LOL!
