#7 Labor Day...I chose to scrap the birth of our 3rd boy for "Labor Day".

I chose to complete #14: SSD pins. I rarely surf through SSD's pins and I liked the opportunity it gave me to finish this challenge. There is so much there! I'm definitely going to be looking there for inspiration a ton more now!!

#20 I've been burning up the DVR the last week or so and I thought both the title and prompt were perfect for a lighthearted look at a couple of my recent evenings.

#11 Side by Side | For my layout this month, I decided to take side by side literally by using a repeating grid pattern for my design. The circles are side by side by side by side. :D

I chose to use this photo of my niece and son. They have this very special connection. She is incredible with him and he adores her.

#14: SSD Pins

The SSD Pinterest board is stuffed full of sweet inspiration. I'm going to make a point of visiting it more often to spark creativity when my mojo is low. For this layout, I used two different pins for inspiration. The first one was from the Sweet On: Quotes board. I used this quote for the title of my layout. The next pin I used was from the Summer Shadowbox Challenge Archive board. One of the options for Challenge #22 was to use cut outs or clipping masks on a layout.

Bingo 08 - Notepad
Why I scrap? For me scrapping is an expresion of my creativity, my therapy, my joy and fun. A fun, that I can afford with my less money and where I get really great feedback, that gives me self-confidence. Besides I love to tell our story with the photos in the layouts. A story, that would be forgotten too fast and that shouldn't be forgotten. Because - and I learnt this from the community of the digi-scrapper - our story is important and should be told.
