What version of PS are you using?

I'm sorry to dominate the forum today, but after getting back into scrapping and switching platforms from PC to Mac, as well as switching PS versions, I'm just full of questions.

I am curious about what version of PS you're using (or if you aren't using PS, what are you using?). Are you happy with it? Why or why not? I'm particularly eager to hear from CC 2014 users, as that's the version I'm currently running and have experienced some issues recently, as some of you have read in other posts. Seriously hoping what I'm dealing with is an isolated incident, but the more I read, the more worried I get.

I'm using CC 2014 and haven't had any problems at all.

Well, that's reassuring!

I'm using PS CS6 and plan to stick with it for as long as it's compatible with future computers. Not sure if I'll go to CC after that, but I'll probably have to.

lauren grier 04-13-2015 03:47 PM

CS6 .. I am very resistant to change and don't want to switch to CC lol

YepBrook 04-13-2015 03:48 PM

PS CS6 but we have CC and my hubby is about to force me to switch!!! :/

BrattyMeg 04-13-2015 03:53 PM

CS5 on an iMac at home but I have CC as well and I use it on my laptop when I travel. I just like the interface of my CS5 more than CC but I haven't had any problems with it

NeverendingJen 04-13-2015 03:57 PM

CS6, won't upgrade to CC until I am forced. I hate the concept of not ever owning the software.

MamaBee 04-13-2015 05:43 PM

I just couldn't get into CC... so I'm back to PSE11... it's good enough for what I do. :)

Libby Pritchett 04-13-2015 06:02 PM

I'm another CS6er who will only change when forced to upgrade.

Yep, me too. PSE 11 does what I want and I'm cheap and set in my ways :D

CS5 here, and I'll use it till it dies. LOL.

This.

Til CS4 is no longer available I'll be using it - I'm too broke to upgrade

kim21673 04-13-2015 07:52 PM

I have the PS/LR photography bundle and am on a MAC...no issues.

Tronesia 04-13-2015 08:15 PM

CC 2014 on a Windows PC with no problems. I had problems in the beginning but after a couple of updates, those things are fine now.

nesser1981 04-13-2015 08:20 PM

I had to switch to CC, I upgraded to CS5 a few years ago, but I lost my upgrade disc, and by the time I contacted adobe about, they no longer had replacement discs.

So I went back to CS3, but it wouldn't recognize by 7D raw files. I love CC, I just have the photographers bundle. No issues.

nietis 04-13-2015 08:37 PM

I use CS4 currently and not planning to switch any time soon...

CS5 and I'll never go to cc probably. CS5 does everything I need it to.

olivesparrow 04-13-2015 10:35 PM

CC here and no problems with it (apart from the panel for the credit tracker script not working but you dont need it to use the script anyway). Everything else I need works in it and it runs fine =)

SeattleSheri 04-13-2015 10:42 PM

CS5, but I may switch to CC soon. I've never been concerned with having the latest and greatest.

staciahall 04-13-2015 10:44 PM

I have CC but am not actually using the 2014 version of it because of the credit tracker script not working. I've come to rely on that script and it's still letting me use the original CC version just fine.

Gemma 04-14-2015 02:29 AM

CC, I got a new laptop in January so had to switch to CC. I haven't had any problems so far with it.

~Cindy~ 04-14-2015 11:43 AM

I have the lightroom & CC 2014 bundle. I just bought an Dell Inspiron 17/5000 series so I went ahead and upgraded. The only reason I know what laptop I have is because the sticker on the front says it lol!

newfiemountiewife 04-16-2015 04:56 PM

I had the Designer bundle of CS5 then I bought a Mac. I had to upgrade to CC, which I am using now.

nun69 04-16-2015 08:57 PM

CS 5

origami 04-17-2015 01:57 PM

Photoshop CC Photography Edition. I haven't had any problems either and think the price is quite reasonable.
