Ugh...have fallen behind

I should know better...I had high hopes to keep on top of the challenges but life got in the way. I had a two wk trip to the east coast, then came home with a sinus infection and then for a week I was in bed with a back flare-up of my arthritis. I finally got out of bed today and got out for some fresh air.

I bought a new camera system (OM system) and haven't even had the energy to learn the settings and get it set up. I'll be watching lots of videos to see what settings are recommended.

What about you? Keeping up with your scrapping or ... are you like me? ... life just keeps getting in the way! I am hoping to get some scrapping done tomorrow but I am not making any promises :)

Sorry to hear you've been unwell Rae. I feel at this point of my life, like every day I'm just trying to keep my head out of the water, never mind actually making progress. You'd think with my kids now being young adults, that I'd have more time on my hands, but downtime just never seems to materialise. My only advice is to keep plugging away at what you can do at whatever pace feels right. One day we'll catch up I'm sure.

Hi Rae! Sorry you've been suffering a sinus infection...no fun! I've actually been scrapping a lot this summer. I finally have time to scrap and trying to get as much done before I have to report back to school. It's actually creeping up, so I know I won't have much longer to enjoy the amount of scrapping I've been doing. I hope you get some time in to scrap and feel better!

I *was* doing great about staying on top of scrapping - including a weekend trip to Orlando - but then the kiddo had dental surgery and now I have neither the time nor inclination to scrap the dentist and Father's Day.

I did get some tie-dyeing done on Thursday while the kid was resting.

Ummm...pretty sure I will never catch up! I'm an over-achiever, I like to push thru and get things done but I am trying to accept that not everything always gets done. That's a hard lesson to learn.

Mary - I don't know when you changed your siggy but I love the fun vibrant cluster! Beautiful siggy!

Tie-dying .... haven't done that in years! What were you dyeing?

I had a whole backlog.

I had pants to redye in hopes of covering a stain, 2 t-shirts from events last summer, and a shirt from an organization for my son's genetic condition that I bleach dyed. That one came out so much cooler than the one in his current size I bleached last summer and I wish my matching one was that cute. I also added in an old 4th of July shirt from the blood bank because I had some extra dye. The blue didn't show up so well on the already blue shirt but the pink made lots of purple :)

I am a bit rabid about doing the challenges. This is my first month ever doing the connect and create, and I love the push to do something so different.
I have 2 left and yikes, degree and escape to connect to sand and seashells and paper to digi...I've been googling paper sites, and am determined to get these last two completed!
But.........that has put my goals for purging the craft room a bit behind, and I have a few WiP crochet projects that desperately need me to hop to it!

I am always behind to the point that I have nicknamed myself, "Last Minute Lorie," as well as "Late Again, Lorie." I try hard , but I don't think it is in the cards for me not to be behind.
