Such scary times for your mom. But I agree... trying to stay positive is key.
I am sorry your mom is needing to have surgery, but I think they can better be safe than sorry. Like you said... what if...?
So after the 23rd, you will know when she will have surgery?
I am just happy to read she can be helped and they tell her that everything is going to be ok. I think the only thing you can do is trust on the doctors judgement.
But I totally understand that both of you and your sister are scared sometimes and that it is hard sometimes to stay positive.
So sorry to read the kids were sick.
How are they now? Are they feeling better now?
Temperatures are a little better here now. We had over 30 degrees in the weekend and the beginning of the week, but it's now 27 or 28 degrees. Much better. I can feel the difference.
Yeah, Finn is unstoppable. It's hard to keep up with him. He makes a mess out of everything. He is faster making a mess than I can clean it up. Lol. But it is a fun age.
He is starting to talk. We can understand some of the things he tries to say. It's so much fun.
He hasn't been in the swimming pool any more. It was too hot in my mom her garden.
We had Father's day last weekend (the 11th). I know, in most places, Father's day is next weekend, but not in Belgium apprently. We didn't do anything special. Malouke made a little gift. And we just relaxed. It was too hot to go outside.
We had a rough week as well.
My grandfather is in the hospital. Super weird story and we don't know what to think or to believe.
In the elderly home he is staying, they said he fell. He doesn't remember, but he was sitting next to the toilet when they found him. He couldn't walk, so they took him for x-ray to the hospital. Their they discovered he had bronchitis. This was Sunday. He is still in the hospital. He gets antibiotics, but he also has lung cancer. We went to visit him yesterday and he was coughing really bad. It lasted nearly 30 minutes. It is so sad to see. I cried a lot.
Anyway... you can vent to me any time. I try to answer as soon as possible.
