My mom took Rachel Christmas shopping this year. She let Rachel pick out a gift for me, and a gift for DH; when they got home, Rachel helped wrap up the gifts and was SO proud of herself! It was neat to see how excited she was when we actually USED the gifts that SHE had picked out (flashlights for DH, a lamp for me)...she literally was squealing, clapping her hands, and jumping up and down.
