Journaling
Mommy started having contractions on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008.. We were sure that you were ready to come out because Mommy was already past her due date, March 7th. We went into the hospital and they said I wasn’t ready to stay in the hospital just yet. So we left there and went home so upset that nothing was happening. The next day we had a doctors appointment and she gave me some medicine so that I could sleep through the night and get some rest. She said she expects to hear from me in the morning, and sure enough I was STILL having contractions. I was glad that they hadn’t gone away but I was ready to be holding you instead of feeling you inside of me. We went back to the hospital and I was really in labor and I was making progress. Finally, around 11pm the doctors decided that you weren’t going to come on your own and they would have to take Mommy in for a c-section. I was excited that you would be here soon and that everything would be just starting. Daddy got to see and hold you first, Mommy didn’t get to see you until around 5:45am but when she did she knew that everything was just right, and that you would always be Mommy and Daddy’s sweet baby girl.
