For the Tell Your Story Challenge #2
Journaling:
When I was born, my parents were living in an apartment in the Bronx. Uncle Sandy and Aunt Moggie lived there too, and my babysitter and her family lived right down the street. The El Train was right at the end of the street, and we were in the flight path for JFK! I can still sleep through ANYTHING thanks to that!!
Mom and Dad had a bunch of cats (one loved to jump out the window!!), and there was a friendly ghost who watched over me. Every night after putting me to sleep, mom would put the rocking chair against the wall. Every morning when she came in, it was pulled next to my crib and rocking. If it got hot overnight, the window would be open, and vice versa if it was cold! I think it’s kinda nice to know that someone else was there watching over me. At least they were friendly!
