02.19: KK came over to platy and ended up spending the night. Sam rode with Stephanie back to Oak Harbor to spend the weekend at Dacotah’s and go to a b-day party tonight.
02.20: I took KK back home to Oak Harbor and left Abby to play at Stephanie’s while I went to the Commissary. Sam ended up going with me and we stopped by the NEX 1st where I got her a new pair of shoes and a new shirt. I also found a pair of shoes for Ben and Peyton on clearance. Then it took me forever to get through the commissary with my list and coupons! I did save $31 in coupons, but paid a $16 surcharge! Plus we had Darcy as our bagger and gave her a $10 tip. It was so good to see her! We told her to come visit us soon. The Raquel and Samuel came over to visit while the girls were at the movies. It was a lot of fun and I hope they will come back to visit :)
02.21: Another LAZY day! We stayed in PJ’s all day, but the kids all got a bath and new PJ’s tonight and are ready for bed! I think the week got to Abby & Peyton because they both ended up taking a nap!
02.22: Took Ben to the dentist today and he has to have his spacer 1 more week and for us to turn it until then and hopefully he will get it off. This should prevent him from having to get braces! Was gonna take them to the Children’s Museum at the mall, but when I came out of Wal-Green’s it started snowing and I did NOT want to take the chance of getting stuck in it! So we went through Krispy Kreme and got a dozen doughnuts. Ben decided he wanted sprinkles {no idea where that came from} and Abby & Dubs got chocolate! I made a quesadilla casserole for dinner {from a McCormick’s spice pack} and it was DELICIOUS! Huge hit with everybody but Abby & Dubs! Well it started snowing around 4 pm and it was like hail! The kids went out in the backyard for a bit and then they were done, but around 915 pm it started coming down hard and the road was covered! Abby and Peyton went outside in the shirt and shoes and NO pants! Crazy kids! It quit around 1030 and the road didn’t look that bad. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
02.23: So Matt got up around 5 am and it was coming down hard! He decided he wasn’t going to work {even if the base was open} and we weren’t gonna send the kids to school. It took them until 0803 am to close Ben’s school and it did NOT stop snowing until around 1230 pm! It has been off and on all day!!! At 1030 we had about 6 inches and Abby & Peyton went to go play! They could hardly walk in it it was so deep! Peyton didn’t last long and Abby stayed until she was too cold to stand it! Sam is suppose to have the school Powder Puff game on Friday, so we will have to see how that plays out!
02.24: I am still not feeling well. Matt and Sam tried to make it to Oak Harbor, but the exit to get on 20 was bad and it took them an hour from the time they left to get back home, Ben’s school was cancelled again. Matt & Abby walked up and checked the mail and there were quite a few boxes! Sam got her Senior sweatshirt and tassels for graduation. Ben also got his new wireless headset for the PS3. We also got Sam’s grades today and she got all A’s and 1 B! Way to go Sam!
02.25: Ben went out and played a couple of times today with the kids next door. He actually has been out more in the snow than he has been all winter! Will be so glad when spring arrives so he can go out and play more
