So we really didn't go trick or treating here. My friend, Ria, joined a gaming convention cosplay contest and Karen and I decided to randomly show up with our
too-colorful hair to look like candy girls.. Ria gets into a lot of competitions like this, and really she’s the original goth girl. Neither Karen nor I are actual goth girls. In hind sight, I think we were really just poseurs
taken by the allure of Ria’s style. Neither of us look like this anymore. Although it really amused me to do the style, I hardly think it's me at all, and looking
back, it's sometimes embarrassing to admit to myself what a poseur I was.
