Journaling: Since the 1st day we went up to the top of the Zugspitze it was all cloudy and snowy we decided to take the opportunity of a sunny clear day to go up to the top again. It was worth a second trip! I have traveled and hiked in the Rocky Mountains many times, but I was in awe when we reached the top and found that as far as the eye could see were snowy jagged mountain peaks. It was truly majestic.
