This is a speciallayout for me because 8 months ago we thought Dad would die within weeks, missing the birth of my daughter. Now he's in remission, has snuggled his first female grandchild, and is getting remarried.
Journaling: They’re beaming. They’re not school-kids but they’re acting like it. He pats her knee and whispers into her ear and she laughs. He holds hear hand. He wrote her a poem to ask her to marry him. It’s amazing. I haven’t seen Dad this happy in years. After knowing each other for 54 years, each surviving and grieving the death of a spouse, Elly and Dad are so blessed to have fallen in love. Here’s to love!
