Journaling: Evie Jo - I am sure you are aware of how difficult a newborn you were, I was the only one that you could get comfort from. You & Me - we had a special bond, whether I liked it or not. Sometimes I loved it. You were and are my baby. My last. My little girl. Other times, I despised it and really wanted out. But as I look at you grow up from an infant to a toddler - these tendencies you had are disappearing. You are so much fun. You are my outgoing child. My ball of energy and sunshine. You are goofy and funny and full of life. Because you are changing, our relationship is changing. You don’t need me quite as much anymore. Sure, there are days when you are super-sensitive and momma needs to fix it all and stop the tears, but I see you needing me less and less. I love the little person you are becoming. All those long days of holding you and loving you are showing me what a great little girl you are becoming.
