Day 1 on trip to Ireland, I was “christened” by a bird. Many even told me it was luck! Really? How is it lucky to smell like digested fish? So, we laughed really hard and I changed clothes and went about the day. Then 10 days later, at the last hotel (castle) we stayed at, we arrived only to learn that they had lost our reservation and they had a full house! So instead of our regular room, they gave us the Presidential Suite with an amazing view of the Irish Sea along with a bottle of wine. The view was breathtakingly beautiful! Howard insisted all of this was possible because of the luck of the bird poop. True story.
